Oregon > 2DPhotography  > Dennis Email > January 2009
January was a watery month. We made three trips up the Columbia River Gorge, including hiking up to the top of Multnomah Falls, and a trip to Silver Falls State Park, where the flows on all the falls were the highest I've seen. We also made it to the coast once, where we saw people wading in the ocean. In January in Oregon, that's a rare thing indeed. I noticed as I was captioning this gallery that of the 49 photos, all but four of them have liquid water showing, and the other four have ice. As I said, a watery month.
