Thanks for the comments on my previous shot.

2DPhotography > St Johns Bridge Gothic Tower
This steep suspension bridge spans the Willamette River in Portland, Oregon. One of our prettier bridges, it is the tallest bridge in Portland.

2DPhotography > Spinning a web
I watched this Orb spider make a new web this morning. I shot about 100 pictures, 70% had to be thrown out because of a slight breeze adding another challenge. I liked this shot the best even though it is the back side of the spider. In this case, it is where the action is. :-)
Thanks for looking.

Taken a few weeks back, the huckleberry bushes in the foreground were FULL of delicious berries.

2DPhotography > A dahlia from the garden.
It seemed to be an appropriate post for a late summer day.
But of course it started raining today.

2DPhotography > Trail Marker...
Over the years, I have walked many parts of the Pacific Crest Trail throughout California, Oregon, and Washington. When we cross paths, it is like seeing an old friend.

Someday I would like to hike its entire length (The PCT spans 2650 miles from Mexico to Canada through three western states: California, Oregon and Washington.)

Enjoy

2DPhotography > Zion National Park
2nd week of vacation we headed out into the desert. The layers of the Navajo sandstone in Zion National Park was quite beautiful against the deep blue sky.
